Bela's injury, less serious than expected

The La Nucía final left a bad taste among padel fans. Fans could not witness the most anticipated match due to the absence of Fernando Belasteguín, suffering from an injury, and the title went to Paquito-Sanyo without the ball being put into play. The Alicante fans, however, paid a deserved applause to a player who always gives his all on the court.

After undergoing new medical tests at the Quirón Clinic in Barcelona, including ultrasound and nuclear magnetic resonance, Belasteguín has finally been able to rule out the existence of a rupture in the Achilles tendon of his right leg.

However, Bela does not want to set a date for his return and it is unknown when his return will occur. In the last few hours, he has already 'got to work' and is working hard on his recovery to be back as soon as possible, as he has acknowledged.

"No time to lose! I have to come back stronger: "Guts and heart". Thanks for all the messages!" he wrote on his Twitter account.The Head Padel player expressed his satisfaction upon learning that he has no type of rupture. "Very happy to rule out a rupture!!! Now to recover it with everything! Let's gooooo!" he stated on the social network.

The Monte Carlo Padel Master, just around the corner

In any case, Bela's injury will mark his return to World Padel Tour competition. The Monte Carlo Padel Master starts on September 5th in Monaco and we will have to be very attentive to the evolution of the world number 1 in the coming days to see if he arrives on time.

For now, Bela is registered in the championship along with his partner Pablo Lima (Asics). The tournament will run until the 11th in the first international event of the season. Fans hope that the brilliant player can continue extending his legend as soon as possible.
