The best and most international professional padel circuit already has a start date. It will be next March 23, at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona, as confirmed by the organization, with the "Estrella Damm Barcelona Master", the first of the tournaments in this new format.

Barcelona, therefore, will be the first city to soon host the most international padel stars, a year that promises to be full of novelties, not only due to changes in the scoring systems, but also due to the new pairings that have formed and the beginning of a new era after the separation of Juan Martín Díaz and Fernando Belasteguin.

The entire calendar will be announced on March 9 at an official Presentation Gala for the third season, which will be held in Madrid, although some Spanish cities such as La Palma and Mérida have already been confirmed.

For the third consecutive year, World Padel Tour will visit Canary Island soil. After the fabulous experience of the tournament in Las Palmas and Tenerife, it's La Palma's turn. According to the World Padel Tour website, next Monday, February 23, a delegation from the championship, led by its general director Javier Porras, will travel to the island to sign the agreement with local authorities.

The city of San Fernando, Cadiz, has also been confirmed, which will host the second event from April 6 to 12 at the municipal courts of Bahía Sur.

Mérida is another of the towns included in the calendar that will be presented on March 9. The World Padel Tour returns to Extremaduran lands. The Mérida amphitheater will be the chosen venue for the circuit's grand staging.

The National Expansion Director, Luis Torre, the Sports Director, Gonzalo de la Herrán, and the Events Director, José Manuel López, have already inspected the facilities where the Estrella Damm Mérida Open will be held.
