Bullpadel, as the
official supplier of the Spanish Padel Federation, and as the official ball of the Tournament, celebrates the success achieved by our girls and boys at the World Championship in Mallorca by teams. Once again, the national women's team has been crowned World Padel Champion. In all 3 final matches, the victory went to the Spanish team.
The chosen players were Icíar Montes, a Bullpadel Team player, Alejandra Salazar, the Alayeto sisters, Paty Llaguno, Eli Amatriain and Carolina Navarro.
The boys did not fare as well, finishing as runners-up after losing to the same opponent, Argentina, in the third and decisive match. The Spanish team's dream of achieving their fourth title was cut short, with the Argentinians being crowned World Champions.
In the national pairs world championship, there was also a Spanish flavor, with Mieres/Díaz in the men's category and Llaguno/Amatriain in the women's category taking the victories. However, the excitement was in limbo, as the four pairs classified for the finals all sported the emblem of the Spanish Federation and Bullpadel on their chests, which ensured, in advance, two champion pairs in the colors of "la roja".
In what has been considered
the best World Padel Championship in history, 16 countries participated in the men's category and 12 in the women's category.
