The 10 keys to making padel the sport of the summer
We are already entering a time of year when the heat is starting to intensify, but that doesn't mean we should stop playing our favorite sport.
So we are going to give you the 10 fundamental keys to turn this sport into the sport of the summer, so that you can not only enjoy it yourselves, but also convince more and more people to continue playing it with the same frequency or more than in other seasons of the year. And, of course, to encourage those who have not yet dared to try it to start playing.
- There's nothing like being on vacation to enjoy the first hours of the day playing our sport, and thus start the day with energy and good humor. Get up early, have a good but light breakfast, and take a walk to the padel courts.
- In all beaches, summer resorts... there are padel courts, so wherever we are, and wherever we go, we are sure to have a court nearby to set up a match.
- And what about the beers after the match? Imagine, after playing and showering, discussing the match on the club's terrace, relaxed, with a cold beer in hand.
- In summer, days are longer, so playing a match at 9:00 or 9:30 PM, after the sun has set, with a good temperature, is priceless.
- During this time of year, tournaments begin to proliferate in beach and summer resort areas, giving us the opportunity to play with different people. Also, night tournaments are held, which is another incentive for staying up late.
- If the whole family is on vacation, we can leave the little ones with their grandparents and enjoy a mixed match with our partner.
- If we don't have grandparents to help out, since we're on vacation and the kids don't have school, we can let them come with us and go to bed later, so there's no excuse for neither the father nor the mother, or both, not to play.
- What better way to get a tan and "catch some color" than by practicing our favorite sport? Of course, we can't forget to avoid sun exposure during the hours of highest radiation, and always play with a cap to protect our head from direct sun, and use sun protection creams to avoid sunburn.
- Can't find a court to play...? No problem. We go down to the beach, set up a net, and organize a beach padel game on the shore.
- If these 9 reasons haven't convinced you... always think about the beer afterwards. There are no excuses not to play padel this summer.
