Siux Spyder Graphene Padel Racket Review

A few days ago, we told you about the launch of the new Siux padel racket collection. A collection that surprised us, not only for the number and quality of its models but also for the inclusion of a thermal cover that will allow us to protect the rackets from extreme temperatures. A success for Siux. However, today we want to focus on one of the rackets that has caught our attention the most in this new collection: the Siux Spyder Graphene. Today, we will analyze it in detail.

First, it must be said that the Siux Spyder Graphene padel racket is an improved evolution of the already outstanding Siux Spyder (now on offer at StreetPadel), a racket that surprised us in 2016 for its wide sweet spot and unbeatable control, without forgetting the power point provided by the EVA Soft rubber included in its core.

But with this Spyder Graphene, Siux wanted to take the previous model up a notch. With a new format, the new Siux Spyder Graphene racket has improved its power compared to its predecessor.

A great power racket

UNO

This has been achieved thanks to its diamond shape and the medium-high balance that has been imprinted on it. An aspect that we quickly noticed with the racket in hand. The Siux Spyder Graphene surprises with its aggressiveness in every shot. But, despite these new features that make it a more offensive racket, it has not lost an iota of the control offered by the previous model thanks to its wide sweet spot.

Another novelty can be found in its rubber. On this occasion, the Siux Spyder Graphene incorporates a Black EVA Soft rubber. This rubber offers an exceptional touch on impact, as well as unrivaled firmness and recovery, further improving comfort and performance in every shot.

Regarding its manufacturing, the best materials of the moment have been used again. We highlight the frame, made with double carbon tubular (Bi-Tube Carbon) which provides extra resistance, greater resistance to cracks, as well as a structural construction based on providing the racket with maximum mechanical response and durability. Unrivaled firmness.

With graphene

We could not finish this review of the Siux Spyder Graphene without mentioning another of its great novelties. The incorporation of graphene adds more durability and lightness to this racket that, one more season, has been chosen by Luciano Capra to play his World Padel Tour 2017 matches.

On the other hand, the 3K Carbon Fiber that covers both faces provides greater firmness to the ball strike. This, together with the Black EVA rubber specification, creates the best mix between elasticity and firmness in the strike, creating a wider sweet spot.

For all these reasons, the Siux Spyder Graphene racket is a racket to especially enjoy near the net. In shots such as volleys, bandejas, and smashes, we will get the most out of it. But it will also provide us with a lot of ease from baseline shots thanks to its lightness. In fact, the model with which we tested this incredible racket barely weighed 356 grams.

In conclusion, we can say that we are facing one of the best padel rackets of 2017.
