Siux signs Aris Patiniotis
Professional player Aris Patiniotis (Mar del Plata, 1991) joins Siux for this season, becoming part of the large Team Siux family. In this way, the Argentine becomes the brand's fourth signing this year after the arrivals of Matías Nicoletti, Marc Quílez and Lucas Cunha.
Ranked 44th in the professional ranking, Patiniotis arrives at Siux after completing his best season as a professional player. Starting from the qualifying rounds, he reached 14 main draws of the WPT, with different partners by his side. A brilliant year that allowed him to climb 22 positions in the international ranking.
His best performance came at the Buenos Aires Padel Master. Alongside Sanyito Gutiérrez, he reached the quarterfinals, defeating the number 7 pair, Grabiel-Moyano. "It was an incredible tournament and the best way to close the year," says Siux's new signing for the current season, "happy" to join "a brand so well known among all padel fans."
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVsGJjz6XcI"I am very happy to be with a brand that has Cristian Gutiérrez among its ranks, one of the best players of all time for me. I think the brand took a step forward last year with his signing. In Argentina, in particular, I have noticed the pull and people keep asking me about Siux padel rackets. For me, Siux is the 'Nike' of padel," he points out.
Siux Spartan Graphene will be his padel racket
Aris Patiniotis will play the 2017 WPT season with the Spartan Graphene, a racket that is "perfect" for his game and with which he feels "very comfortable" from all angles.
"People had spoken very highly of Siux rackets, but you don't really know their quality until you have them in your hand. The Spartan has pleasantly surprised me, especially with its power," he says with a laugh.
In addition, Patiniotis will also carry Siux padel bags. Specifically, the Siux Spartan padel bag, of great quality, which you can now find at StreetPadel at the best price.
Step by step
Siux's new player will start the WPT again with Cristian Germán Gutiérrez by his side. He is already looking forward to the ball rolling at the Santander Open in 15 days. But he is clear that his goal will again be to "go step by step."
"Honestly, I don't set big goals. I try to do my best and enjoy the moment. Obviously, we want to establish ourselves as main draw players. And then, why not, climb positions in the ranking to consolidate ourselves on the circuit. But the most important thing is to improve every day," he adds.
