With the start of the season, the new
Bullpadel 2022 models are in the spotlight. Without a doubt, it is one of the most anticipated collections of the year. On this occasion, we offer you a complete analysis of two rackets designed for advanced players: the Ionic PWR and the Ionic CTR. Learn all their details to decide which of the new Bullpadel Ionic rackets best suits your playing style.
Analysis of the new Bullpadel Ionic rackets
This launch is part of the brand's
Next Line. In this category you will find rackets designed for
intermediate and advanced levels. This range is characterized by being one of the best in terms of value for money, since it includes some technologies and components from professional ranges, but at a more affordable cost.
Features of the Bullpadel Ionic PWR
The
Bullpadel Ionic PWR is the
power version. Created to be in the hands of aggressive players who tend to be close to the net and hit powerful shots. This is why it has a
diamond shape, with a sweet spot located at the top of the faces. Although, unlike professional power rackets, it has a
medium balance to make it a little more manageable.
The racket incorporates some of the most familiar components for fans. First, it has a
100% carbon tubular frame, guaranteeing the best resistance with the most widely used material in rackets. On the other hand, it has
Glaphite composite faces. This material is one of the most interesting, as it is a
combination of fiberglass and carbon fiber. This gives the racket an intermediate hardness feel, neither too stiff nor too soft. This allows the player to hit with power but without losing comfort and control.
Inside, the racket has
MultiEva. This is a
rubber that has
two densities. One part is soft for control shots and the other is hard for powerful shots. This component is one of the racket's strengths, as it is a rubber that is also present in the rackets used by
World Padel Tour players.
As additional details, the racket features two complementary technologies to improve performance. One of them is
XForce, a system that improves balance and makes the structure more resistant. In addition, it incorporates
3D Grain, the technology of
rough faces for spin shots.
Features of the Bullpadel Ionic CTR
The new
Bullpadel Ionic CTR is the
control version, for those looking for a
manageable racket. Because it is a racket that stands out for its ease of handling, it can also be used by
beginners, although it is still a racket belonging to the Next Line range for
advanced players.
Like the PWR version, it has a solid construction, consisting of a
100% carbon frame and
Glaphite faces. The double-density
MultiEva core is also incorporated inside for a versatile hit that allows for control and power at similar levels. In addition, as part of the same rubber, XForce technologies and 3D Grain rough surfaces are incorporated.
So what makes the CTR version different? This racket has a
round shape and a
low balance. The round shape has a
wider sweet spot and is located in the center, characteristics that favor control. Regarding the low balance, this means that the weights are concentrated in the lowest part of the racket, that is, near the grip. This generates a feeling of increased
lightness and
manageability.
