The current World Padel Tour season has not yet ended, but the first news for the next season is already known. And, as expected, it comes in the form of changes in several pairs. Two giants of international padel, Cristian Gutiérrez and Juan Martín Díaz, have already revealed that they will not play together next year. And, in addition, they have revealed who their new adventure partners will be. Do you want to know who they are?

CRISTIAN GUTIÉRREZ JOINS THE TALENT OF STUPACZUK

The first to announce the change of course were Cristian Gutiérrez and Franco Stupaczuk. It was precisely the latter who, from Argentina, officially announced this new partnership on the courts.

"Hello everyone. I wanted to make public the news that in 2017 I will play the World Padel Tour season with the Great Cristian 'el gordo' Gutiérrez. A magician on the court and a benchmark in the world of Padel, whom I have watched play since I was very young," says young Stupa, the main standard-bearer for NOX rackets along with Miguel Lamperti.

A mix of veteran experience and youthful talent, which will return the Siux number 1 to the drive position. This year Cristian Gutiérrez played on the backhand with Juan Martín Díaz.

Stupa, in his first season on the circuit, has partnered with Marcello Jardim. The player from Chaco has made a great impact on the circuit, demonstrating that he is one of the players with the most potential. Meanwhile, Mar del Plata's Cristian Gutiérrez is one of the circuit's benchmarks, with an enormous track record built over more than 20 years as a professional.

Hours after this announcement, Juan Martín Díaz confirmed his new WPT partner. 'El Gallego' will form a duo with Ramiro Moyano, another of padel's most promising players. Another pair brimming with experience and youth, aiming for everything.

Juan Martín Díaz has just undergone surgery for physical problems in his knee, but has already announced that he will return stronger in 2017. "I haven't played anything with Ramiro yet. But he, besides being a great person, is a magnificent player despite his age. I have very good feelings," JMD told EFE agency.

Cristian Gutiérrez and Juan Martín Díaz thus bring an end to a somewhat inconsistent season. They reached two WPT finals, but a lack of consistency prevented them from being closer to other titles.

What do you think of these two new WPT pairs? Who do you think benefits more from the change, Juan Martín Díaz or Cristian Gutiérrez? We await your opinions!
