Wingpadel at the World Padel Tour Valencia

The Estrella Damm Valencia Master, the second scoring event of the World Padel Tour, has kicked off with great matches in its first phase. The favorites have left no room for surprises and the best pairs reached the preliminary phase after overcoming their three respective matches.

One of the brands that has made itself most noticed in these first days of competition in the capital of Turia is Wingpadel, especially thanks to Antonio 'Pincho' Fernández.

The Extremadura champion has shown a great level with his Wingpadel Air Force and, together with the Portuguese Diogo Rocha, won his three matches to advance to the next phase. In the decisive match, they defeated Aitor García and Jorge Tupayachi 6/2 and 6/3.

In the first match of the preliminary phase, 'Pincho' bid farewell to the Valencia Master after falling to Alejandro Galán and Javier Romo 6/3 and 7/6.

The Wingpadel player who is still 'alive' in the Valencian championship and is just one match away from entering the main draw is Raúl Marcos. The champion of the Community of Madrid, who is playing with Raúl Díaz, will play for the definitive pass against the pair formed by Jake Benzal and Lucas Silveira.

Marcos' goal is to enter his first main draw of the World Padel Tour in 2016, where his Wingpadel teammates, Adrián Blanco, Álvaro Cepero, and Javier Ruiz, are already waiting.

The rest of the Wingpadel players who participated in this Estrella Damm Valencia Master -Cristian Ramos, Christian Fuster, Álvaro Matador, and Jorge Barriuso- fell in the pre-qualifying phase despite playing great matches. Víctor Ruiz also fell in the first match of the preliminary phase.

Wingpadel already managed to be on everyone's lips at the start of the World Padel Tour with the Gijón Open. The brand managed to get a player into the quarterfinals with the presence of Álvaro Cepero. The player from San Fernando was one of the great revelations of the tournament, wielding the Wingpadel Air Attack.

In the first match, together with Pablo Lijó, they eliminated the veterans Cristian Gutiérrez and Juan Martín Díaz, the fifth seeded pair.
